My name is Dele Faulkner, and I'm excited to share my passion for wine with you. How did I get into it? Oddly enough, it started with a glass of Macallan 18 in 2018. I wanted to elevate my palate, and scotch was a spirit I knew well.
Then, at a restaurant in Dallas, I overheard a guest speaking with the resident sommelier — someone whose profession was in a completely different industry, yet who spoke about wine with real depth. It sparked a desire: how rewarding would it be to know a passion that intimately?
Fast forward five years — a degree in Biology, time in private wealth management, and a WSET Level 2 certification — and the hobby became a clear vision: to communicate my passion for wine in a personable, relatable way, so that whether or not you drink wine, you leave with something.
